I got a couple error messages and than a message saying Reef Sanctuary is having data problems?

That would typically mean that they restarted the database server.

Exactly! Probably gave it a swift kick in the tail which would have refreshed it! Should be faster at least for now. That's the beauty of a DB! Starts off FAST and gradually slows to a crawl if not refreshed regularly! It is MUCH faster right now!!

It usually slows down around midnight for a little while. We thought that was when you worked on the site.

It slows around midnight because that's when the server runs the statistics program. Goes through all hits, page views, etc. and generates a report.

We are currently averaging 139,000 hits and about 25,000 page views per day... so ya, that'll put a strain on any server.

Lighting = 6x250 watts MH, 2x96 watt PC ,and 2x140 watt VHO for a total watt of 1,972 watts . New addition on 4-14-07 of 100 gallon sump and 100 gallon refugium. I think I have lost my mind.
