Hello friends, this is an important piece of information for all those who browse the site using the "latest threads" box on the home page --

Don't!

OK, well that might be a little dramatic but here's the thing: That box only shows the latest threads posted to. With as busy as we've been, you need to understand that you will be missing A LOT of posts if you only use that.

Here's what you need to use:

This will show you ALL of the threads with new posts since your last visit.

When this site was smaller and slower, you might have been able to see the last few hours' worth of posts on "latest threads." But as it stands, you're seeing oftentimes less than an hour;s worth of new posts.

I always knew that this feature would become problematic as we grew, but you guys just love it, so please, make sure to use it as a brief glimps into what's going on, rather than thinking that's everything.

Great tip. There is always info that I don't have the time to read, or go through. This will help to try to keep caught up on everything.

thats my go to spot,,,also on the navbar under quick links. todays posts. this shows all posts whether or not you have read them. makes it easier to go back and find that post you read an hour ago but forgot what section it was in.

on the bottom right, you will see pages 1,2,3,4...they will let you keep going back then you will see "The threads below have not been updated since your last visit but still contain unread posts."you can keep going back till you have read them all.

When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person. When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.
