Personaly I'm not easily offended, porn links are a fact of internet life, I do worry about our more sensitive members and children however,today another moron decided the meet and greet should be used as a toilet and hopefully I was the only one that viewed the content. I always thought the report button was automatic but it was still there after I refreshed the page, as this isn't a war room I wouldnt expect the "ones behind the curtain" to be glued to the screen, so, could the report button be automatic? how do we know which of our suffering Mods are on duty and what do I do about this rash?

Clicking the

button simply sends an email to all moderators and administrators that gives a link to the reported thread. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that there will always be someone available to handle every reported thread immediately. We are working as deligently as possible to keep such trash from public view.

They are banned ASAP. I too wish there was a good spam-filter for forums. I have been exposed to more porn as a moderator than I have my entire life. It is a frightening world some live in...

I kinda like pressing the report button. Their karma turns RED and has negative numbers. Pretty cool.

For those who have never been moderators, and thus not seen the fabulous equipment they use to keep the forums running right, here's a moderator panel from a different site. (I'm not one of the mods here, so theirs may be slightly different)

But I'm sure decisions to ban people are made in much the same way on all forums, with a simple up/down vote:
