maybe it could be once every two weeks...that way you give everyone time to discuss a topic thoroughly before the next one comes along

Unfortunately, that's the problem with TOTW's they are great at first but after a couple months people get bored of them. I think having them on a monthly basis may help avoid that boredom and allow them to be talked about for longer periods of time if people so wish.
