Somehow that tank would have to be setup so it wasnt safe for some of the animals I think, there is just not very many ways to make everything pictures happy and healthy.

i am in Fl and am totally willing to learn shrimping

Re: My 34 Gallon Seahorse and Macro Tank!

Thanks Juanell!

I am not sure what my GPH is blurp. It is the RSM with just one powerhead running if that helps.

During the first week, I feed bbs. rotifers should be ok for almost any species. What are you keeping?
Those are some nice pics of those ponies, if you know that person, tell them that tang needs to come out though.

Re: My 34 Gallon Seahorse and Macro Tank!

dude your amazing to get your SH to mate, i've read a ton on it and the larger types tend to be harder to mate, here in Fl the common type you find are those really small ones "oober cheap" you can go to the keys and net them if you don't get caught leaving the reef. since i'm FW i have not done any reef scavaging "i know taboo subject" sorry, this is so cool to read about real breeding not theory

you have a really blue thumb

I love the feeding dish you had in there. I tried something simmilar for the Mandarins but the hermit crabs kept getting stuck in there.

Re: My 34 Gallon Seahorse and Macro Tank!

Thanks! Have you tried elevating it? Then the hermits shouldn't be able to get in. I have to update this thread, I re-aquascaped. I'll post pics tomorrow.

Re: My 34 Gallon Seahorse and Macro Tank!

Here are some new pics as promised. The plants are a little "dusty" because I just pulled out all the caulerpa and a lot of red grape.

Re: My 34 Gallon Seahorse and Macro Tank!

Looks really nice. That would be a really good Mandarin tank. Its nice and tall which is good for spawning and the feeding dish would probably work out good.
