Really nice tank, my friend, love your red grape, trying to get some for myself. Your hoses look very happy, the dish thing is a great ideal thanks for that one. Thanks for visiting mine. We have the same ideals about setting up we booth have gorgonias for them to grab on , cool.

How do you ship that red macro?

I know a lot of algae's disintegrate in bags of water when shipped. Not sure if you send that one in wet newspaper or bag it up and hope.

Thanks, I really love the look of your macro tank. I am sure your horses are happy there too. I want to get a few more species of macro and thin out the red grape. Training them to a feeding station is so worth it, it makes feeding so much easier.

I am honestly not sure. I am going to try leaving one out bagged and one out wrapped in stryos and with heatpacks and see how they do after two days in there. I am just waiting for it to warm up over here. It was like 40* today....

Re: My 34 Gallon Seahorse and Macro Tank!

Might be obvious to most people, but stuff like this has always got me wondering...what do you actually do with them once they are all grown up. Do you sell them to local reefers, LFS's, ship them out, etc?

Re: My 34 Gallon Seahorse and Macro Tank!

Thanks Jeff! These guys are doing very well, they are so fascinating. Jeremy, once they get to a sellable size I will ship them out to people who want them. There is a big demand for the at seahorse.org. Of course, I will have to keep a few.

Re: My 34 Gallon Seahorse and Macro Tank!

I am thinking around $50. That is what most people are charging.

Re: My 34 Gallon Seahorse and Macro Tank!

This week's growth has been very noticeable. They must have hit a growth spurt. I am also starting to get some yellow ones. Papa might also be pregnant again...Cross you fingers!

For something that's suppose to be relaxing, you sure seem aggravated!

Why are your clownfish black and white? Were they cheaper because they're the wrong color?

sticking with the 29 gallon!
