Seahorse Nursery

one of the pics in my introduction thread is a DIY double Kreisel downdraft....

( baby seahorse drow out tank )

Simply to make and even easier to use...

if anyone is interested I will be happy to post a thread on DIY

Actually kreisels are old school. We are raising seahorses in regular square tanks lately. Some folks still use the kreisel design but most of the breeders are just using standard or conical tanks now.

it can also be used for jellys,...shrimp zoe,.....brine shrinp...ect.

I would also love to see a picture of the kreisel tank. Would also like a "dummy guide to building a kreisel" Noted another thread on here about A do it yourself. The thread was a more should he or shouldn't he rather than heres how you do it diagram

How do you avoid babies from swallowing air and floating on the surface on square tanks?
I got a couple and every month some 30-40 babies are born, but never could raise them for more than one week.
