| Tunicate | Re: pair of seahorses The guy told me they were captive bred. He was feeding them mysis but when I got him home he started eating all my copods and amphipods, showing no interests in the live brine or mysis that I tried feeding him. I am also thinking he is still getting use to the tank. He eats the pods all day long and is a very active horse. What do yo recommend I do? |

| Midas Blenny | Re: pair of seahorses Looks like a male. The "Belly" area is sloped and not as pronounced as a female's would be. The female's mid section actually looks like a "P". Here.. these are my Reidi. I've "illustrated" them for you. ![]() Dave

| Tunicate | Re: pair of seahorses Heres a pic of his home. The clownfish you see pictured shouldn't be a problem he NEVER gets out of his nem its the craziest thing I ever seen. Im in the process of building another tank so all the corals that post a danger to the seahorse will be put into another tank. I plan on adding more sponges and things for him to be able to hitch on. ![]() |

| Acropora ![]() | Re: pair of seahorses Personally what I think you should do is remove him to a bare bottomed QT tank and get him back to eating frozen mysis. Also the tank you have him in now really is not conducive for his health and safety. Clowns are a big no-no for seahorses and anemones are deadly to them. You say you've only had the seahorse for 2 days that is 2 days longer than I would trust an anemone in the tank. Trust me it will only take one brush of the horse against that anemone and it will be a bad outcome for the seahorse. Instead of setting up another tank for the corals and clown/anemone I think you'd be better off setting up another tank more geared towards keeping the seahorses in. JMHO
