any one know what this is

i found this thing on one of my rocks it looks like a green string with 2 leafs on the eand of it u can just bearly see it in the pic

Can't tell much from that pic, (maybe a caulerpa runner?) but that's a big nasty aiptasia next to it...

That is one nasty aptasia on the right.. and to the left of it, are the "tentacles" of a spionid worm.

One in a tube shell:


One outside of the shell:


Some times you can see the calcerous shell jutting from the rock. Other times, the shell is in a hole in the rock and all you see is the opening and the two "feelers"

By the way, they are harmless and actually very good as part of the clean up crew. Now.. that nasty glass anemone *Shudder* IT scares me
