do i have hydroids

I think i've been reading to much. im worried i might have hydroids. would i see them in the seahorse tank . i do have little white things on the glass once in awhile.but not many and they look like a little snails no arms on them. i tried to take a picture can't see it.

Maybe you are seeing pods, what do the little white things look like. That isn't a very good description. Sounds like you are taking lessons in description from me

Hydroids are of no threat to the larger species of seahorses only the dwarf seahorses (H. zosterae).

I have had them in with my larger horses before with no ill effects.

I check out the hydroids pics. Its not any of those. Its like a slug with a shell.

That sounds like a stomatella snail.

I'm not sure but I think there is a cream for that... just kidding. It sounds like snail eggs I get them all over my tank glass.

Hi Terri,

this is a little Stomatella (3-4mm) a harmles algae eater. Maybe it looks like this ?
