Ponies in Ft. Pierce, FL Attn;Lynn

Well when looking for local places I found this site and am posting it for those in the Brevard , Indian River Counties of Florida. Seahorse Source, the ultimate place for captive bred seahorses.

I am thinking about taking a ride down there today if I can find a place that also has corals.

good catch Caitrina

this would be the reefing equivalent of an APB (all points bulletin) anounced over the police radio

I think that is the place PanManMatt told me to go to. I'll have to find his recommendation but I know it was a place in Ft Pierce.
No ponies for me for a while. Not until I find a way to keep their tank at the proper temp. I have just had too many problems keeping them long term with my current setup.
I would love to go window shopping though.

I know only too well. Fortunately the pony tank has become a temproary tank for a fish that was getting beat up in the reef and my flameback angel will be there at least short term if I can ever catch the silly fish. I could have caught any of my tangs a hundred times yesterday but of course the flameback illuded me once again. GRR..

Sorry so late on this. Yes Lynn that is the place I sent you too. If anybody ever takes a trip there, tell him I sent you. Dan, Abbie and Debbie are all top notch folks that take customer satisfaction really seriously.

They also have more than just seahorses. You should try their decapsulated brine shrimp as a food for your reefs. My corals all come out to feed when I add it to the tank. Not to mention Phytoplankton, copepods and rotifers are also on their list of microfoods.

I am working on either a new pony tank or re-vamping my chiller before I get any more ponies. Then I will take a trip south so I know I am dealing with a quality vendor.

Heck Lynn just add another A/C system and bring the house down to a constant 74 degrees. Your Ponies and the electric company will love you!

The electric bill is already $400 with the tanks and the hot tub plus four teenagers. Plus the tank is in the family room which is open to most of the house.

Another glowing recommendation. I like. I will definitely get my next ponies from them. I just have to figure out how to keep my pony tank cool enough for them to live long term. Then I will go visit and come home with lots of goodies.
