Aptaisa eating fish

last week my fire shrimp ate my peppermint shrimp.

now I am having an aptaisa bloom.

anybody know what fish I can get that will eat aptasia ?

Copperband butterfly, but if your tank is less than 75g don't get one. Also make sure it eats frozen foods. These fish are really touchy, and not many have good success with them. I would say just get bigger peppermint shrimp.

The CBB is difficult to keep and may not eat the aiptasia. I would try the Chelmon muelleri he supposedly isn't as sensitive as the Rostratus but much more difficult to find.

And if you have any clams relocate them cbb will eat them.

Will a CBB also clean up all those wavy little white tube worms from the substrate?

Yes.. CBB eat feather dusters like candy.

not feather dusters, but those 2 pronged tube wormy things that live in tubes made from the substrate...they are all over the bottom of my tank and thought a CBB would take care of them (I have no clams)

Most butterflies will take care of anything that waves.

My Auriga has also taken a liking to zooanthids. Oh well......................
