| Midas Blenny ![]() | Sounds like a good list as far as compatability. the only things I would look out for are the regal angel (typically difficult to feed/provide the proper environment for and, if possible check out Scott Michaels Reef Fishes volume 3, or whichever one covers angel and butterflyfish.) hopefully, that can send you in a better direction. Also, when you get the dispars, make sure theyre eating before you buy them (from my few years in and LFS, these, just like squareback and purple queen anthias seem to be a little reluctant to feed for the first few days, just try some live brine(not a good permanent food but, it will get them eating.) or maybe mysis.) |

| Manta Ray | cool thanks guys. i am aware of the angel, very well aware and ready, thanks for the heads up though. tanks been going for 4 months now full of pods, mysids and stuff. also have gracilaria growing in the main tank for him aswell. kinda stocked the tank around him corals choosen with him in mind too. of course getting the indian ocean variant, if not the red sea type. have 5 chromis in there for the past 3 months. will remain like this for another 5 months before stocking, chromis will go to LFS.my coraline is just starting to really take off now. one other thing i have been thinking about is corals or fish first? what do you guys think. i think i will post a poll. |

| The Wand Geek was here. ;) ![]() | I had a dottyback that relentlessly chased my gobie around my 4' tank until I removed it. If you add it, make it the very last fish... way after the gobies get settled in.

| Moderator ![]() | I have an orchid dottyback and as pretty as this fish is, I will probably never get one again. My main complaint with it is throwing sand everywhere. It comes out of the rock work with a mouth full of sand and spits it everywhere! I am constantly having to clean up. Mine has been timid as far as chasing any fish. |
