| Scopas Tang | New fish in tank I just go a new sand shifter goby, it is white and has orange/pink spots. I wanted a fish to clean the sand and he is already at work, I think I will like him. He is about 5" long already. I believe in having a system that would compleate itself, fish/inverts that would complement and benefit from having each other. Unfortunatly my scopas tang is not eating the hair algie. Any sugestions on what fish would? How about a 6 line wrasse. ![]()

| Wannabe Guru ![]() | A 6 line wrasse is a carnivore and will definitely not eat hair algea but the lawnmower blenny has been known to take a liking to hair algea, although I would suggest you find the source of the problem. Do you use RO/DI water ? How often do you feed and do you feed Flake food ? How often do you do W/C's ? Do you use any supplements ?

| Scopas Tang | I do use RO water. I feed once a day 1 frozen cube for my 2 tanks, a total of 5 fish, 6 now, 3pp shrimp and some crabs. I do not seem to have "good luck" with lawnmower blennies, killed 2 already, one starved himself to dead, the second one just desapeared from the tank after a couple of days of getting him. On water changes I do about a 10gal change every 2 or 2 and a half weeks.

| Scopas Tang | I run a turboflotor 1000, but it does not seem to get a lot of junk out, I have been trying to adjust it but I am not doing very good with it.
