Question Post your Homemade Fish Food

Can you post your homemade fish food receipes. I'd like to start making my own. Can you describe how it's made and how you freeze it. Is it put in ice cube trays, is it frozen into one big slab. I'm looking for information like that.

Thanks very much.

Just take some shrimp, nori, salmon and soak it in RO/DI water for an hour to remove the Phosphates. Drain off the water and blend until fine. Then put it in a freezer bag and spread it thin and put in the freezer.

Just break off pieces as needed.

I use shrimp, squid, fresh littleneck clams, salmon, and either fresh flounder or sea bass- blend all together, then i mix in a small jar of cyclop-eeze and some DT's and mix. Then i freeze in flat in a large freezer bag and break pieces as needed

You can double bag it in freezer bags. Be sure to remove all the air from the bags.

Also, remember that you can't keep it forever in a freezer.. it is still rotting... just at a very, very slow pace.
