| Bryozoan  |  GSM or WSM? I recently purchased my first salt water fish, that being said I thought I had bought a regular white striped maroon clown. I was cleaning underneath the tank in the stand today and found the receipt for him and noticed it says gold stripe maroon clown........ My question here is are GSM Clowns born with white stripes and turn gold/yellow over time? My little guy is only about 3/4". I will post pics if anyone needs or wants to see him for this question.

| Sunshine Reefer   | Re: GSM or WSM? I am honestly not sure. My lfs told me that mine would change to gold when it got older and it never did. Somehow I suspect thy are selling normal maroons as gold stripes but I don't know for sure. Even with the white stripes my maroon is a beautiful though territorial fish.
