| Star Polyps | Tang Food Preference Not sure if I should put this here or in another thread but I will see how it goes. I am going to be having a few tangs in my tank and was thinking about having a type of algae grow for them to graze on as well as my normal feedings... Any suggestions?? Looking for something that might grow in the display, not look horrible, and keep up with 4 tangs.. Thanks!! |

| Fuzzy Sticks ![]() | Re: Tang Food Preference Nothing really that you could introduce will keep up with 4 grazing tangs. I recommend other then good meaty foods a sheet of nori as often as possible.

| Tridacna maxima | Re: Tang Food Preference Soak the foods in something too, i used Zoe from Kent, Garlic Extreme from Kent of Garlic Guard from Seachem, and Selcon, soak Mysis in that and then I fed that once daily and flakes in small amounts a few times a day, plus the sheet of nori and you should have some healthy fish on your hands. However, I have been accused of overfeeding ![]()

| Manta Ray | Re: Tang Food Preference my tang love chaeto. i grow it for him n my HOB Fuge. also mine seems to like HA, i only had a little, then i saw my tang take a bite, and it never gets over 5mm long. i have a thread about my homemade mush called " Cole's Mush " it has all of the ingredients i used, and my tang loves it. i swear by this stuff, i think iit majorly helped the tangs immune system, because i have never seen ich spot on it. i am 100% sure my tank has ich because my clowns had it, but the tang has never had it, and the clowns havent showed signs of it since i switched to my homemade mush.
