| Contributing Member ![]() | I kept my porcupine puffer for 7 years. She grew so big on my watch I donated her to a local aquarium. One day I woke up and the bottom 220 was covered in eggs. I called the local marine biologist and of all the fish she said it had to be the puffer. She had a large male and wanted to try putting them together. Well they never bread or at least they never produced in this simulated reef. (Tons of fish) but they are always together. I visit her every month or two and she is now 12 years old in tanks She still remembers me too. The 2 puffers never come down to the bottom when the lights are on. But when I’m there she goes nuts and comes to look at me. Last weekend I got to feed her and she went apesh*t! I got to pet her for the first time in 5 years. God I miss my Puffy S

| Golden Moray | Mark, That must have been have been a hard decision to make. However, the end result was best for Puffy and it is COMPLETELY COOL that she remembers you for that long. Great info!!!
