What's your oldest fish?

I was just wondering how old your oldest fish is? How long YOU have kept them?

My oldest fish is my ocellaris clown that I've had since my tank finished cycling in the beginning of Jan of 03. She was about 7 months old when I bought her.

All my fish, with the exception of our Regal Tang have been with us quite a while...

Purple Tang -- 5.5 years
Yellow Tang -- 5 years
2x Ocellaris Clowns - 5 years
Regal Tang - 10 mos

Lost a Bi-Color Blenny this year that had been with us just over 5.5 yrs.

I kept my porcupine puffer for 7 years.
She grew so big on my watch I donated her to a local aquarium.
One day I woke up and the bottom 220 was covered in eggs.
I called the local marine biologist and of all the fish she said it had to be the puffer.
She had a large male and wanted to try putting them together.
Well they never bread or at least they never produced in this simulated reef.
(Tons of fish) but they are always together.
I visit her every month or two and she is now 12 years old in tanks
She still remembers me too. The 2 puffers never come down to the bottom when the lights are on.
But when I’m there she goes nuts and comes to look at me.
Last weekend I got to feed her and she went apesh*t!
I got to pet her for the first time in 5 years.
God I miss my Puffy

Mark,

That must have been have been a hard decision to make. However, the end result was best for Puffy and it is COMPLETELY COOL that she remembers you for that long. Great info!!!

Thanks I like to think so
She is now in a 3000G simulated reef and circles the tank all day for food. Many of the kids that work there know me and give me updates all the time.
They also have my French angel that is about 6 years old and bigger then a dinner plate (4 inches thick)
My queen trigger 14+ inches and 8 years old
And my monster 20+ inch South American Red Tail Cat (FW)
She ate a 12 inch koi a few months ago
They though she was pregnant LOL
