i keep mine at 1.023.

yours is on the low side.

I think most people shoot for 1.024 - 1.026 but ANY changes you make need to be very slow.

Invertebrates like a higher salinity. Yours would be fine for fish only but I think you need to raise it a bit for a reef.

now my specific gravity runs around 1.025-1.026.....

I usually gargle it a bit and know that I have it just right when it matches the saltiness of Lay's chips.

lol, ya. my next WC ( im on my consistant 1 week changes now )
i will do 1 1/2 of the salt amount. and i will raise it to 1.024, then higher later on maybe. i might not even go all; the way to 1.024

i would think 1.025 would be my goal? i dont want it to high.
