| Reef Nerd :) ![]() | Re: what do you keep your salinity at? yours is on the low side. I think most people shoot for 1.024 - 1.026 but ANY changes you make need to be very slow.

| Tridacna maxima | Re: what do you keep your salinity at? 1.026 Invertebrates like a higher salinity. Yours would be fine for fish only but I think you need to raise it a bit for a reef.

| Tridacna maxima | Re: what do you keep your salinity at? i do believe you have your terms mixed up. i hope you guys/girls are not keeping your salinity at 1.023 or even 1.026, na can't be. i keep my salinity at about 34-35ppt now my specific gravity runs around 1.025-1.026.....

| Manta Ray | Re: what do you keep your salinity at? lol, ya. my next WC ( im on my consistant 1 week changes now )i will do 1 1/2 of the salt amount. and i will raise it to 1.024, then higher later on maybe. i might not even go all; the way to 1.024
