| Harlequin Tuskfish | tang and blenny not eating I have had my Kole tang for about 2 weeks now and also my lawnmower blenny. The first week i let them pig out on my HA that was growing in my tank but now im starting to see that algae disappear and im trying to switch them to marine algae you put in the clips. I have been putting it in and leaving it for about 10 hours each day but i come home and it dosent look like they have eaten any at all. My tang looks healthy and swims around all day but my blenny is looking increasingly thin. Will they eventually start to eat the algae sheets when they are hungry enough or is there something i can do to intice them more to eat? Thanks for reading my post and hopefully for the advice. Mark

| Sunshine Reefer ![]() | Re: tang and blenny not eating You can try rubberbanding the nori around a rock. This is a more natural way for them to eat and sometimes encourages them. Another thing worth trying is to siak it in garlic.

| Sea Pen | Re: tang and blenny not eating You also may want to try a different type of nori. My last LM Blenny preferred the red/purple stuff to the green. He also preferred it to be low in the tank, about 5 inches up from the sand, in medium current, near the middle of the tank - he was VERY picky. Also, he wouldn't eat any of the natural algae that grew IN the tank... stubborn fish.

| Harlequin Tuskfish | Re: tang and blenny not eating I have tried 3 different kinds of the stuff. 2 types of green nori and a red algae. Ill try rubber banding some to a rock and placing that near their hide outs
