What would you do?

I have been trying to add my final fish to this display but have run into some problems. At first I wanted to get a small dragon moray. I paid one of the better on-line retailers for the eel with hope he would get the eel in a week or so. Well The week went by and the date of when the eel was to arrive continues to be pushed back time and time again. It has been well over a month and thinking the eel is not going to come. I completely understand that these eels are almost impossible to get. So here is what i am contemplating.

Should I wait for the dragon moray?

Or what I am leaning towards a Wrought Iron Butterfly.

Or thinking of getting both of these guys from LA.

Re: What would you do?

If the Eel doesn't come then the Wrought Iron Butterfly would be my suggestion although I'd have to check if these are corallivores or not.

Re: What would you do?

Well I am going to wait for the Dragon. Yes I have already paid for the ell over a month ago. The distributor I am getting it from said his Japanese supplier has the eel, but is waiting to ship the eel when he has enough fish to fill a the box. I was told he should receive the eel on the 30th and then he is going to hold it for a week or so and make sure its eating and all that good stuff. Just a bit frustrating as I paid for the eel over a month ago and have no eel. Guess that is to be expected when trying an almost impossible eel especially a small one. So I am going to continue to wait patiently and keep my fins crossed. thanks, Tim

Re: What would you do?

Where is there one for 2500. Not that I would ever think to pay half that price? Thanks, Tim

Re: What would you do?

Well the dragon is "supposed" to land in the states on the 30th. We will see. I am not worried about the quality as this distributor gets some of the best stock out there. Just worried that I going to keep getting a later date on when the eel is supposed to arrive. So we will see. I''ll keep you updated. Thanks, Tim
