| Ricordea | Maroon So I bought a Maroon Clown and he's tiny, about 1 1/4 inch's. I wanted to add another fish right away before he gets to established. The tank is about 6 months old and sat with 4 chromis' to keep it cycled. I was thinking about adding a blue spot jawfish. Knowing the Maroons nature in being extrememly aggressive to like species, I was wondering what the compatability of different species would be like. The tank as of now is 29 gallons, which is being used as a grow out for the 55 he'll be going in, which is not setup yet. Any suggestions on fish that would go well with them would be great.

| Elegance coral | Re: Maroon I think you might be ok in a 55 gallon, but not a 29, but wait for someone elses opinion.

| Sunshine Reefer ![]() | Re: Maroon I would not put a blue spot in with a maroon. Blues are very peaceful and maroons are very territorial. A 29 is actually pretty small for either and cerrainly small for both. Once you get the 55 then you have more room but I still wouldn't do that combination. On fact I have both and they are in separate tanks. ![]()
