| Tuxedo Urchin | Angry False Perc. or Tasty Fingers? I have a black mis-barred, mis-finned false percula clown fish. He is usually pretty good about leaving me alone when I have to put my hand in the tank, but lately he's taken to attacking me. Now, his favorite treat is dried cyclops pellets (SO BAD for my tank - algae, phosphates, etc.) and I usually give him some before adding anyone to the system, because it seems to keep him from bullying as much. He's actually tried to "take out" some corals before - he bit my Hydnophora AND he knocked over my green Monti. Digi. (twice!). However, he didn't bother my stylophoras or pocilloporas (odd). But, now I do epoxy my corals in place. So, do you think he's just a particularly angry little dude of a Clown Fish, or do I just have succulent fingers (from handling cyclops of course)? Does anyone else have this problem? |

| Sunshine Reefer ![]() | Re: Angry False Perc. or Tasty Fingers? My maroon will nip at you if you go anywhere near her side of the tank. She will even attack the feeding stick if I am target feeding the serpent star.
