| Bryozoan | I'm stuck and need advice on fish choices, I'm looking to add my final fish to my 80g reef and was hoping to get a Coral Beauty Angelfish. But I have read that they tend to nip some corals and Inverts such as Clams? (I'd like to add a clam at some point in the future) Also would it go with my other fish and inverts ok? 2x False Percs 1x Scarlet Hawkfish 1x Blue Cheeked Goby 1x Yellow Tang 4x Blue Chromis 1x Peppermint Shrimp 1x Cleaner Shrimp 1x BTA Corals incude shrooms and button polyps (adding more slowly, starting easy) 2nd question I have is my Chromis have been bullying my clownfish (The smallest in particular) and I'm thinking of removing them and replacing them with a Comet (Betta). Again would this fish be ok with the fish etc above, inc Coral Beauty? I've read that they sometimes attack shrimps and small fish, how true is this? I'm aware that these fish require an established tank, its been set-up for 12 months now and is very stable. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Rob |

| Torch coral ![]() | Re: Fish compatibility questions As far as the Angel fish is concerned, there is a chance that he will nip at the clam. In my case, I have a Flame Angel that loves to nip at the clams. As a result, I have not added any more clams to my 90 gallon. IMO, Coral Beauty would be ok with the rest of your group. |

| Bryozoan | Re: Fish compatibility questions Ok thanks. I think i'll get a Coral Beauty soon then. I'll wait and see what happens about the Chromis and Clownfish, ATM the Clownfish have some growing to do so maybe the bullying will stop then? As for the Hawkfish, he's normally well behaved. He used to attack randomly until I added a Yellow Tang then he just stopped. Cheers Rob |

| Sunshine Reefer ![]() | Re: Fish compatibility questions The dwarf angels are gorgeous but just to unpredictable for me. I had one for almost 2 years and then he started nipping on my corals. It took quite a while until I figured out what was happening to them. How about a colorful blenney instead. Lots of color and lots of movement.
