What a cute little fish.

We were swimming out in the gulf yesterday and saw these little fishys. Their so weird looking. They hide in that seaweed stuff (it's all over the beach right now). Does anyone know what they are.

could you get some shots from the side, that would help. Maybe a filefish.

My first impression based on the shape of them was triggerfish as well... but unless they're lil baby triggers, I would doubt my initial guess

I don't have them anymore. This was at the beach yesterday. There were hundreds of them. I just wanted a pic then put them back in the gulf.

possibly a file fish a cousin to the trigger

Thats what I said and I know that they hide in the sargassum in their juvi stage.
