I'm about to do some research on this fish. I was wonering......

are they hard to keep?

are they known to get diseases?

are they aggresive?

What is their diet like?

They are prone to parasitic infections particulaly Marine Ich.

Generally speaking they're not but there's always the exception and unfotunately in my case I had to remove mine.

They are herbivores during their early stages but as they age they will become omnivores needing algae/carnivorous foods. It's not uncommon as adults for them to turn to corals if there's not enough meat in their diet.

These fish are relatively hardy but since Ich is so prevalant among these fish I would never recommend one unless you have a quarantine tank.
