Everyone Looook!!!

this is my tank at 5months and 7days these r my corals. this is my first nano and im pushing it to the limits and there is more stuff to come.

ph 8.2
nitrite 0
nitrate 5
ammonia 0

and everything is growing nicely i started noticing alot more purple in my tank now.
so hows it look everyone??????????????????????????????????

can u guys tell me what each thing is called in my tank.... im a newbie an my lfs guy juss gave me stuff for free an stuff please help lol thanks... i know im a newbie but i dont know what any of these corals r called.

Pic 1 - A feather duster of some sort.
Pic 2 - Toadstool leather
Pic 3 - Fungia, known as Plate coral
Pic 4 - Pipe organ or Green star polyps
Pic 5 - Eagle Eye Zoanthids, or zoo's, or zoas for short
Pic 6 - Blue spotted mushrooms
Pic 7 - Frogspawn
Pic 8 - Pink palys, possibly zoas... but more than likley palys, and Yellow palys
Pic 9 - Hairy mushroom?
Pic 10 - Assorted mushrooms
Pic 11 - A nano tank off to a great start!

Looks great!! Let it all be for now - you risk losing it all if you go too fast - that includes adding corals etc... as well as fish.. Cant wait to see it "grow up"!!!

A couple of things for your tank's long term well being.

First, in pic #4, if those are Green Star Polyps and not pipe organ coral, move them away from your rockwork or it will be all covered with GSP's in short order. They're horribly invasive.

Next, in pic # 8, those yellow polyps can also be very invasive and can kill the zoanthids on the rock with them and totally take over. I know many reefers who totally regret ever adding them to their tank...pretty, but troublesome.

Lastly, I agree that your tank is pretty fully stocked as it is. I can't tell how big the tank is, so it's hard to say for sure, but in this hobby, less is more.
