| Tunicate | Anthias won't eat! I have 3 Anthias that I cannot get to eat. They only eat frozen foods but being as that can cause problems with water chemistry if not careful I want to find another alternative. I have tried dried sea weed, flaked and granules and nothing works but the frozen foods. Any suggestions? |

| Golden Moray ![]() | Re: Anthias won't eat! There are very few anthias that will eat flake foods. Many do eat the frozen stuff. Believe it or not the flake foods are actually worse for water quality than the frozens are. Flake foods are very high in phosphates where as the frozen food ( if fed in moderation) are low in phosphates and nitrate causing bacteria. Consider your self lucky the anthias is eating anything as many never eat a single piece of food! Matt |
