The Helfrichi firefish from the marshall Islands is unique because it is the only deepwater firefish....caught at depths of 150+ feet....make sure your tank stays cool as deepwater fish prefer colder water....beautiful fish nervoustime!!! Aloha Les

I am fortunate to live in Southern California. The owner of one of the LFS in my area is nice enough to look for any fish that I ask for. A few weeks ago, he called me from the wholesaler and told me that the Helfrichi Firefish was on sale. So, I asked him to pick one up for me. My price was $100.

They are gorgeous but pricey. I've seen them here for about $60 but have always been afraid to try them.
It is a gorgeous fish. Looks like yours has quite the personality as well.
