Re: Helfrichi Firefish Photos

Thanks rlcline76. His colors really stand out when you see him in person. Luckily for me, he is out most of the time in the open. This guy loves to eat.

Beutiful fish, my LFS had one last time I went there for 150, so it sounds like you got a great deal.

Re: Helfrichi Firefish Photos

I'd snap up one of those for 60$ in a heartbeat !

Right now I'm just trying to find a regular old purple firefish.....I'm afraid that's about the closest I'll get to a helfrichi......

Thanks Robert. He is perfect for my Aquapod. Jason, you will not be disappointed. The Helfrichi looks much better in person!

Re: Helfrichi Firefish Photos

$100 for a Helfrichi is juuuuust slightly above what a wholesaler in Hawaii will sell them to a wholesaler in LA for.....You got a really good price....(score!!!) They normally retail for $150 and up......congrats....

Re: Helfrichi Firefish Photos

Thanks WPH! I am lucky to have found this LFS. The owner has treated me really well. I like the fact that if I am ever looking for a special fish, he will eventually find it at a reasonable price. You just have to show patience!!!

Re: Helfrichi Firefish Photos

Went to the airport to pick up my shipment this morning. Got some corals, and my new Helfrich's Firefish, very pretty. He/she is hiding in the rocks right now.

See what RS can do...LOL

Thanks for the idea of getting one
