| Tubeworm | 4 clowns, problems with 3 I have 1 perc, 1 false perc, a black and white, and a naked clown. The black and naked both came from the same store. And the true and false percs for another store. The only one in good health is the true perc. The other 3 can't/wont eat. Seems like there is a problem with their mouths. Nothing visually though. They can open and close their mouths, but almost like its hard to do so. They have not eaten in 4 days. They go for the food, but don't eat it. Their also pooping white, which is a bad sign I'm sure. Water parims have been great as of late. I say as of late, because my tank has only been up for about 2 months, and I bought them about 2 weeks ago. Every other fish in the tank is doing great! Even my starfish and urchin. Any ideas of what to do, or whats happening? I do water changes at 10% every 10 days... |

| Sunshine Reefer ![]() | Re: 4 clowns, problems with 3 You need to tell us more about your setup but from the way you describe the poo it could be an internal parasite or worm. I would also do a larger percentage on your water changes.

| Wannabe Guru ![]() | Re: 4 clowns, problems with 3 Based on your description it appears to be a parasitic infection called Brooklynellosis which is common among Clownfish. You'll need to give them a Formalin bath, here's how to do it: Treatment of brooklynellosis Quote:
