| Acropora | OP's on a Carpenter's Fairy wrasse I plan to check out a Carpenters Fairy wrasse ( Paracheilinus Carpenteri)I saw at my LFS yesterday evening. They were about to close so I didn't get a chance to get a good look it. I understand they are a fairy mellow fish. Would I be able to add another or other type of mellow wrasse in the future? Would this wrasse compete for pods if I wanted a Manderin in the future? I have a 20 gl qt ready to hold this fish . Are they prone to any particular disease of parasite? It will go into a well established 200 gl tank. The tank has a Sailfin Tang & a Koran Angel. If this fish looks healthy & eats at the shop I'm considering buying it. Any opinions from You Night Owls? Thanks, Brian |

| Manta Ray | Re: OP's on a Carpenter's Fairy wrasse i like them, have had them in the past. i found they were fine even adding other wrasse later, though the others were bigger. dont know how they would do if you added a smaller or similar size one. yeah they will compete with a manderin. they are very hardy fish, once established pretty much bullet proof. the tang and angel may be aggressive with them, depends on your tang and angel. i have one angel that just hates wrasses. any wrasse i put in with it she ends up attacking all day.
