They are very cool looking. I was considering one for my nano, but then I read the information on them.

Re: An Acro Keepers Worst Nighmare

I accidentally ordered one through a wholesaler before on their advice. It didn't survive very long, wouldn't eat anything.

Personally as a hobbiest and a store owner there are many fish and corals I will not sell. That is one of them along with a long list of things I don't think are a good idea to harvest or sell. Just my 2 cents

It is good to know that there ARE people who care about the reefs. Some places will sell anything to anyone just to make a profit.

Sweet!!! I would like to see that. I believe in trying to preserve what we have. I know that it is possible to enjoy the worlds seas without destroying them.
Dont you have a warehouse in Charlotte as well?

Re: An Acro Keepers Worst Nighmare

I was in my LFS the other day, and I was thinking along those lines. I think if I had an LFS, I would refuse to carry certain creatures. I would also post it on a sign: "I do not carry the following animals: " followed by a not-all-inclusive list. It would then explain these animals do not fare well in captivity. Personally, given the option, I would choose to frequent a store that refused to carry doomed animals over one that did not.
