Unhappy Its a sad day in my reef.....

If you have seen my thread when I started it, you would definitely remember my Klausewitz's Blenny. I was looking at my tank last night and noticed a strange congregation of my CUC. Even the porcelain crab was in on the action, I looked closer, it was my blenny. I immediately tested everything, i got norms across the board. ph was 8.3, sg 1.025(normal never changes) temp was a little high for my liking but it was a warm day (tank temp 81.5 at time of death) I bought him after my tank cycled on July 8th '07(a month after exactly) He did get ich 2 weeks later, and developed a open sore on his side. He fought through it and lived and was healthy ever since, very fat, loved his greens. I dont know what happened. Let us all take a minute, and please could we have a moment of silence.......and remember: The Klausewitz!
Enjoy a short slideshow in remembrance--> Blenny Slideshow

Hang in there bro! It's one of those things where all we can say is "It just happens." We're all just a small part of the circle of life.

Best wishes

with a SW set up there is one basic fundamental rule that we ALL should follow
When in doubt... wait it out. This means take it slow and let the tank "develop" and don't rush it. Time is your friend
