SPS Corals & Fish...

Over the course of the next 6 months or so, I plan on building a new (my first) custom SPS tank. Along with expanding my knowledge not only on tank set up, SPS coral, and equipment, I also would like to explore the possiblilites of fish that can easily coencide within an SPS tank.

Can the members of this forum take some time to shoot a few options my way? Pictures would be great too if possible. For further info the tank will be 48x30x24.

Are you planning an open top tank or a canopy? Bare bottom, or substrate?

Re: SPS Corals & Fish...

Blue eye/threadfin cardinals like to hang out around/in acroporas. They are one of the only cardinals that remains in a school at adult size. I used to have a school of 15+ that would breed all the time.

Wrasses are good, I'm biased of course. hehe Rainford gobies, tangs, bicolor blennies, blue jaw trigger fish, clown fish, hawk fish, etc, etc. You have lots of stuff to choose from. ;]
