I "drip" using my turkey baster. A baster full of water out of the bag, then slowly drip a baster full of tank water in. I have to stand there for a while but I think that whole tubing setup is a PITA.

The only problem I see with this is that there is usually not enough water in the bag to give sufficient depth in a 5 gallon bucket and the poor fish will be laying on his side.

He's a beauty Kathy! Very perky!

You're not kidding me Kathy with that baster full of water c#$%. I know a temperature acclimation and release when I see it. You're just trying to cover your tracks.

Length of 4-6" diameter PVC just shorter than the bag. Place pipe in center of 5 gallon bucket, Place bag in pipe and fold over the top to hold the pipe down.. Drip as normal. Bag will overflow into bucket and not onto the floor. Go make coffee and come back in an hour or so.

Nitrate (NO3) reduction is directly proportional to percentage of Water Change.
Allen's home-made formula...(-NO3=WC%)
This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%.

Ask me about how to increase your REEF budget without going without FOOD!!
