| Social Darwinism victim | MiniMoe and his chromis buddy are having a hard time breathing and they're listless. MM is laying on his algae bed sideways sometimes. I'm wondering if this was the same problem I had with the 37g as the QT. Fishy had brooknyella and didn't make it. I've got the 55 filled with a bit of sand in it and maybe 5 lbs of rock in there that's been through a round of lifeguard. There's a nano koralia in there, looking for the seio pump that I have somewhere for some flow, we have a canister filter in there but I can't count it as flow bec. the return is a bar that the water flows out of. No "push" to it. We filled it with water from water changes from the 75, 12 and 24 gallon tanks and fresh SW. Parameters are OK, trAtes a HAIR high, nothing we haven't been living with most of the time. Mike's out getting airstones and some pumps, and I'm going to do a water change shortly. What else can I do? Is there anything I should know about that I haven't mentioned here? Thanks for any and all help.

| Social Darwinism victim | Re: "QT" tank with same issues I should add this isn't a strict "QT" tank, mostly a holding tank for now that'll probably be a FOWLR.

| Social Darwinism victim | Re: "QT" tank with same issues yup, got the nano pointed up and the seio is in and running (after having to take the *^% thing apart to get it running) and Mike is setting up a seaclone skimmer on the tank. Stress coat on its way.

| Social Darwinism victim | Re: "QT" tank with same issues OK, we're looking a little better. If nothing else, the flow is forcing the fish to swim and get their gills moving and the skimmer is set for LOTS of microbubbles on purpose. The temp is a little high too, 81, so we opened the top more.

When I have had listless fish, it was lack of air (electricty off no flow). Sas seems to have you well taken care of ![]()
