| Manta Ray | Re: Flame Hawkfish safe with inverts? Right, and he "may" not eat the shrimp already in there. Mine didn't. BUT!! If I ever added any they didn't last long.

| Harlequin Tuskfish | Re: Flame Hawkfish safe with inverts? I have snails & crabs & have never seen him eat any but some do show up dead on occasion. No shrimp in my tank anymore, I did have a cleaner shrimp that came up missing but was with the Flame for about a year before hand. |

| Bryozoan | Re: Flame Hawkfish safe with inverts? Flame Hawks are amazing fish, soo much personality. They will eat shrimp added after them, but I never saw them bother snails or crabs. He looks beautiful, go for it. ![]()

| Reef Lobster | Re: Flame Hawkfish safe with inverts? I have one in my 55 as well and not one problem with him. Absolutly the best fish in the tank. He loves the blender mix I make and stays away from everything else. He has never gone after my two cleaners or the baby peppermint shrimp. I have seen him chase down a few mysis shrimp though. |

| Wannabe Guru ![]() | Re: Flame Hawkfish safe with inverts? Just one more thing I noticed with mine which eventually led me to remove him from the tank was that he tended to pick on my Fairy Wrasses for some reason, don't know if this is common with them or not but once established he may be aggressive towards the newer more timid additions.
