Does This Fish Exist?

i need a small, non-aggressive, and inexpensive fish that will pick at pods and other lil tiny critters that are consuming my tank.

i really think pods are irritating my zoos and such. mainly because theres so darn many.

like a 6-lines docile femminin lil cousin or somthin?

If you have enough pods to sustain it long term a scooter blenney is a very cool fish. I have a very small red scooter that is growing very slowly. I don't think they get very big even when full grown. I know I paid less than $20 for him so it fits in the inexpensive category. The only problem is that they are like mandarins and usually eat only pods so you will need a continuous supply.

Bob be careful with what you're trying to do. The pod-pulation will adjust up and down with food supply. It's almost like a self regulating machine. Given the right food and protection they will grow *population explosion even* then consume the food. If you cut back on their food supply the population will level off. It's like treating a symptom and not the problem. Just some friendly advice.

I wouldn't put a scooter or a mandarin in that size tank or with a mantis.
I don't know of any other really. I know most fish will enjoy the occasional pod snack so maybe just another fish in general would help.
