please could you give me some advise on what kind of fish, would be able to help control the algae build up on my gravel, thanx em

What sort of Gravel is it ..... or is it sand ..... ie how big are the grains

Like Brucey is saying, grain size is key. If they are too large, there aren't going to be any fish that'll sift it for you. You will have to manually remove the algae, usually through siphoning. If the size is small, there are various sand sifting gobies, as well as a sand sifting seastar, that'll keep your sand clean. However, while they are cleaning, they are also muching on all your microcritters, cutting down on your biodiversity, and eventually depleting their food source. So grain size makes a difference.
