| Just Mike for short | Finally got a fish for my 14gl Took some time to find the perfect fish for my 14gl. This little guy is only 1" but has plenty of personality and is quite spunky. I think it is the most expensive fish I have ever bought for its size. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| Just Mike for short | Re: Finally got a fish for my 14gl Everyone is too kind. It is a redhead goby. A LRS gets them from time-to-time and I have considered getting one, but they have always been priced at near the $50 mark. When I stopped by yesterday they had dropped the price a bit, so I got it. It is pretty active and has already fed on brine shrimp and mysis. It also comes to the front to check me out and doesn't retreat when I approach. I have a large Caribbean pistol shrimp in the tank already, but I don't believe the shrimp will bother the goby. It's not a shrimp goby type. The LFS gets one redhead in at a time and keeps them in with some larger fish, tangs and such-nothing that preys on smaller fish, and it is comical watching these little guys holding their own at feeding time. |
