| Social Darwinism victim | Clown ID, sorry, no pic I didn't get a picture of him, but a friend got that $16.99 clown from Petsmart!! He's in Tim's QT tank. He's a black and white clown, saddleback, has yellow on his face and tips of his swimmer fins (still working on anatomy terms!!) and he's cute as a button. Would anyone know what he is? He's tank bred. Tim swears he's a ocellaris (sp?) but he's more into corals than fish.

| Reef Shark ![]() | Re: Clown ID, sorry, no pic Without a photo, it's pretty tough to ID a fish, but at that price range, and being at Petco, odds are it's an oscellaris clown. Here's some pics to look through...maybe you can find the one you saw... Clownfishes

| Dragon Moderator ![]() | Re: Clown ID, sorry, no pic I would recommend that you look up the Amphiprion polymnus, Black Saddleback Clownfish. They are oftne confused with the black percs/ocelaris but the white pattern is on the apidose fin (the second fin in the the top) is what leads me to believe it's the A. polymnus, Black Saddleback Clownfish
