What's your favorite fish?

So what's everybody's favorite fish? Sine I've only got 2 so far it's got to be Spot, the domino damsel. He acts like a dog, follows the 6-line wrasse around, and I swear to god he plays hide and seek. He's also a food hound.

Re: What's your favorite fish?

1- copperband butterfly
2- achilles tang
3- citron goby

All three are awesome fish that swim up to the front glass when I get close... probably just begging for food but still its a nice welcome

Re: What's your favorite fish?

My favorite fish is the good old common yellow tang. I think this is one of the most striking fish i have ever seen. I have had rare fish in the past and awesome fish that are less common but i always have to have this fish.

Re: What's your favorite fish?

Kathy are you asking to try to get an idea of what to put in your tank? If so be careful! Make sure that you are absolutely sure it's suitable. My favorite fish in 30 gallons isn't the same fish as it is in 200+ gallons.

For me (in a large tank) its a toss up between a Sohal Tang and an Emperator Anglefish. In my tank it's between my Swallowtail Angelfish and Purple Tang. In a small tank it would probably be a six line wrasse or a pair of Percula Clownfish.

Re: What's your favorite fish?

No, I think I'm interested in a clown, one of the smaller types. I think my next step is a ceaner crew, in a few weeks depending on the tank.

And no, I visit bird stores all over the place, but it doesn't mean I'm shopping for a macaw when I only have room for a parakeet!

BTW, I love that spotted guy you got recently!

Re: What's your favorite fish?

Cleaner crew is an excellent next step. Just in case you havent seen it, here's another good link.

eTropicals.com - Live fish, corals, inverts, plants, live rock & sand

Check out the build your own package. Shipping is free on a $60 order. A great way to get everything at once and save. Just be careful not to add anything that isn't in the build your own section or they will add shipping.

You mean a Macaw won't fit in a parakeet cage!

My grey LOVES climbing in the little guys' (tiels and 1 keet) cage... they're not too keen on it though.

Mine would have to be my Orchid Dottyback, followed closely by my Psychedelic Spot Mandarin.

I am a big fan of most wrasses. I love my Labouti, Rose-Band, and Mystery wrasses.

Re: What's your favorite fish?

Well my very favorite is my sailfin tang but they are way too big for you tank and full grown are too big for my tank.
As for smaller fish I absolutely adore my yellow clown goby and my citron clown goby. They are beautiful fish and have a great personality.
