fish troubles

I have three fish in the tank and only one looks like he has sand stuck to him. not acting strange, but the white spots dont wash off when he swims through the current and I have a skunk cleaner in the tank also. any ideas. cant get him out for a dip

What kind of fish? My mandran has sand stuck to him often. And it stays with him. Keep an eye on it. I have never delt with ich....but I'm sure others will chime in soon. ICKThis is a real good thread that recently posted. Check it out.

Dealing with a freshwater tank I had a bad case of ick a couple months ago. What was effective was adding salt (not a lot) and a product called coppersafe. I don't know if your tank will react good or bad to coppersafe...

Never add copper to reef tank as it will kill corals and lot's of other stuff, make sure you read the coppersafe bottle as I am not familiar with that product.
