Thanks guys....I appreciate all the support. I've been telling my family about this and nobody can believe this.....
My girlfriend is fine, she went to work, and will no doubt tell everybody there that SHE is the true hero, and that I passed out in a dead panic.....

I also have to work tonight at The Pageant. Its a local country + western (Both kinds of music....country and western...hah...get it??? right.....) radio stations christmas concert. I cant think of a better way to cap off the day than to be locked in a room w/ a bunch of drunken cowboys, mad cause we aint got no Natural Light.....
I must have been a terrible sinner in my past life....

Thought about that, but how exactly do you explain to landlord that the concerntina wire (Razor spiral) and the trip flares are all because of a psychotic squirrel? They already think I'm nuts, why confirm it?

Actually so do I. I did ALOT of checking around after the demon was vanquished, looking for holes etc, just to be sure. And the only way I can think of that the squirrel could have gotten in was when I saw a squirrel nosing around the upstairs balcony (door to house was open) when a contractor was looking the place over in order to get a bid together....last Thursday. So I doubt that the squirrel will be back. BTW Chris....love the new Avatar!!

Okay, I don't normally advocate the use of firearms in close quarters against rodents, this just happened to be a special occassion. In all honesty, had I known it was the squirrel, I would have left the gun behind. (whats the old joke, never bring a gun to a squirrel fight??? Anyway...)

I'm glad you all enjoyed this...I'm sure I'll be needing therapy for years to get over the trauma. Jeez, when I think about seeing that thing coiled up behind the blinds...Its not very often that the terms sinister and squirrel get used in the same sentance, ya know?
So remember, If you're having a crappy day at work, your fighting w/ your loved ones over something stupid, or life just plain sucks....at least your not fighting a squirrel in your underwear....
