Re: Gsp?

It's a LOVELY thing to have but when/IF you get some keep in mind it's a VERY aggressive grower. That's how it survives in the wild by growing and over taking real estate in the ocean quicker than most others. If you add it to your tank keep it on something that you can easily move or remove. Don't put it onto the Awesomely HUGE and expensive prized rock. If it were to take off growing like crazy (and it will) you don't want it to over take the Centerpiece of your tank.

Live Rock Rubble will do the SAME thing as Bio-Balls and is NOT a suitable replacement for BIO-BALLS in a Reef System! It's ALL gotta go!!

Nitrate (NO3) reduction is directly proportional to percentage of Water Change.
Allen's home-made formula...currentNO3-((%WC*.01)currentNO3)=finalNO3 (thanks Luukosian)
This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%.

Ask me about how to increase your REEF budget without going without FOOD!!

Re: Gsp?

That would work.
Then what you trim you could frag and sell.

Bwlr is exactly right. I know someone locally who is currently attempting that as well. Once I get my 90g Up & Running I'm planning to do exactly that in my Frag Tank. That and Xenia on the back glass.

Take pics and let us know how it's going.
