| Over Achiever | Re: *NEW* Mini Cleaner Clams, 9 Armed Star, & Beaded Starfish!! OMG, is that a freak of a starfish or what! Those cleaner mollusks are called "Coquinas", Dorax variabilis. They are all over the sandy beaches of Florida and are exposed every time a wave washes onto shore. Then they quickly dig back down into the sand. |

Are those mollusks "appropriate" for our reef temps? I see those off the coast of North Carolina but the waters much cooler up here so I wouldn't put the ones from My coast in my tank. They do look SWEET!!

| Manta Ray | Re: *NEW* Mini Cleaner Clams, 9 Armed Star, & Beaded Starfish!! When I was little I used to catch those little Coquinas at the beach. I would boil them and give the shells to my moms friend, she had jars full of them. Then I would use the little tiny meat to catch little tiney fsh.LOL
