ID Please?

I don't know if this is an anemone or what. It was a hitchhiker on a coral I bought, and has since moved around my tank.

At night it curls up inside of itself and becomes a small ball. When the lights come on, it quickly unfolds. When unfolded it is about three inches long.

It's a anemonea majano, majanos are colonial pest anemones similar to aipasia, only tougher. Similar methods can be used to erradicate them, injection with vinegar, injection with lemon juice, injection with kalk paste.

Thanks. Since there only seems to be one, it sounds like I will set it free from my tank!

i say this as my best advice to a beginner. do not,,,and i repeat,,,,,DO NOT look at my tank as an example....i have a well practised eye, decades of experience, and a trunkload of failures to allow me to force the issue and get away with things most cannot~
