looks like nudibranch to me, and a pretty one, too. Have you had any mysterious coral tissue death or regression? If so, it's probably your culprit.
Just saw this purple thing on my glass as we were cleaning the tank. Any ideas what it is and whether it is ok to keep in the tank?
Looks like some sort of Nudibranch or snail to me. No clue where it came from!

I just took it out and it looks more like a snail on closer inspection (it has a shell). I put it in a QT tank that is full of wrasses so let's see how long it lasts!

Stomatella, confirmed. Unusal colored one. I have dozens in my tanks. WHen my snail poplation gets low, these guys multiply rapidly. I think they do a better job too. I only keep a few turbos, just to ensure clean glass.
