Can Anyone ID this Crab?

Hi there, I have only had my tank cycling for about 2 weeks. There is nothing in there except some snails and some LR, so today I decided to put a small bit of brine shrimp in the tank to see what would happen. Well a cute little crab poked out of one of my rocks! I was delighted until I read that they are usually a pest...
This guy has a dark purplish body (almost black) covered in tiny white spots, his two front claws are black with white tips (pretty thin) and his legs are banded with white yellow and black. Hes not hairy at all and hes super fast! Sorry the pics arent the greatest, he wouldnt come out far enough to get a good body shot but you can see his legs pretty clear. Hes upside down in both pictures.

It's really tough to tell from the pic but for some reason I have the feeling it is a sallylightfoot.

Does it look like this?

I can't tell from the picture, but it does not look to be either a mithraculas (formerly known as mithrax) or a porcelain crab and therefore is dangerous. Those are the only two genus that are reef safe that I know of.

Re: Can Anyone ID this Crab?

Hmm I dont think its either of those, I looked at quite a few pictures online and I cant find anything similar. The bands on the legs are really clean, the white is really bright and then yellow and black? Its weird. I work at a pet store so I'll probably just try and catch it and bring it back to work Any good sites on how to make a trap becuase there is NO way im going to be able to catch him myself :P

I have one of those as well. I have never seen anything like it on the ID sections of various forums. All I have seen her, and I know it's a female because I caught her releasing eggs, do is nibble on coraline algae......so far
